Festive closure 

Our office will be closed for the festive period from 25 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026. Our phone line will close as normal at 1pm on 24 December 2025.

You can still submit your complaint via our online form but this will not be processed until we reopen.

2024-25 Complaints Statistics Published

We have published our complaints statistics for 2024-25. This includes a breakdown by subject and authority. 

Although our service began in 2021–22, this is the first year we have published this level of detail as we are now in a position to share INWO data more openly.

Highlights include:

  • 133 complaints received
  • 140 complaints closed
  • 60% of complaints were premature
  • 20 complaints were closed at investigation
  • 80% were fully or partially upheld
